With participants ranging from ages 3 to 7 years old, from 10 different countries, 60 young rising star players came together to showcase their skills and engage in exhilarating games. The Hong Kong Citi Soccer Sevens is a highly anticipated three-day football event that kicks off on May 26th. The tournament features a mix of Premier League and local club teams, including Brighton & Hove Albion, Leicester City, Newcastle, Hong Kong's Kitchee. Organized by the Hong Kong Football Club, the event includes both the Main tournament and Masters tournament.

On the 19th of December, our school held its second internal tournament with the kind support of Dr. Kong. Held in Wong Chuk Hang, 180 students from 12 districts and 24 coaches/referees participated in this festive event. Amongst these students, 30% of them participated in a football tournament for the first time - we were incredibly proud of their courage and dedication!

Last Sunday, our school had its first internal tournament at Victoria Park - with the participation of 110 students from 9 districts, Tsing Yi, Tuen Mun, West Kowloon, Tsuen Wan, Bel Air, Nam Cheong, Yuen Long, Sha Tin and Causeway Bay, we successfully held U5-U7 and U8-U10 competitions
In these matches, students were divided into teams according to their respective districts, and we hope to have enhanced their sense of unity while honing their match skills. We were to hear from many parents that they found the tournament to be of use in instilling values such as teamwork, dedication, and determination - while providing an opportunity for our prodigies to showcase their ability
In accordance with their performance, our team of coaches will comprehensively review our students’ display on the pitch, and we look forward to our next tournament - which will be held in December! Then, our tournament will be divided into ‘Development’ and ‘Championship’ sections, such that our matches will be ever more enthralling and thrilling
Upon the end of today’s tournament, our players received a gift pack, which consisted of:
- a YTF-exclusive folder
- a waterproof sports backpack
- the first edition of our newsletter
- Lee Kam Kee sponsored culinary gifts
As always, we must extend our gratitude to Racing Sport Photography for documenting these amazing moments, and we are grateful for the support of our dear parents and volunteers!
